Meet the author

I am a science fiction author passionate about storytelling. Also I like to study about ancient Greek musical instruments and music (ancient and modern). Artificial intelligence is an other of my interests which I start reading about from sci-fi books when I was kid. I studied Electronic Engineering in Greece at TEI Piraeus (now University of West Attica). I am the owner of the Greek speaking radio station in Australia “Radio Melodia” and foundation and committee member of the “Greek Museum of Adelaide Inc.”. In my free time I like to play and compose music with electronic keyboards and ancient Greek Lyra. You can Listen my songs in my Youtube channel. Other of my hobbies are: CNC machining, Laser engraving, 3D printing, old valve radio restoration. Also I am an Australian radio amateur operator with call ID: VK5AT. I born in Adelaide but I lived most of my life in Greece, where I gained the knowledge I possess. Now I live in Adelaide with my family from 2012 and I work as an electronic technician.
My motto is “Reality is more complex than any fiction”.
In this photo, I am happily posing holding copies of my first book, published in Greek and English in 2021. I never thought I could write a complete story and then publish it in a book! I’m not a professional writer but I manage to find some time to write.
The secrets of the Cosmos
The secrets of the universe or otherwise the Cosmos to use a Greek word, are still well hidden and what has been written by science fiction writers is a drop in the ocean, let alone what has been discovered by scientists. I believe that in the future if humanity continues to exist, the new generations will be able to see wonders of nature that we now write about as science fiction.

From real life to fantastic stories
My stories are inspired by real events that either happened to me or came to my attention as a simple spectator. Some of my characters are real persons that I met or total fantastic. I like to enrich my stories with a strong dose of imagination. Usually, good prevails in the end, but without this being the rule.
I like to fill the blank pages with letters and these become words, sentences, paragraphs, and entire chapters of stories. Stories where I can be a little god there, building my characters the way I want, manipulating them, making them love, hate, rejoice, be disappointed. Within this little universe that I build, I am the dominant player and I feel omnipotent. For these reasons, the joy of creating writing and sharing my stories with readers excites me. With writing I feel like I’m leaving something timeless about my character and my thoughts for future generations.
My books:
“Messenger from Afar”
Science fiction novel
This is my first science fiction novel, written on 2021.
The story is about a scientist who works at a university in Australia. He creates an Artificial Intelligence computer that receives a coded signal from space. With his companion, humans and the AI, they seek to discover a well-hidden secret through the centuries to avoid a possible catastrophe of humanity. On their way appear spies from foreign countries, secret agents from their own country and a secret brotherhood from ancient Sparta.
They all seek the Holy Grail of knowledge for their own reasons and engage in an adventure that changes their lives, while at the same time looking at the human history they have been taught so far from a different perspective.

“Ancient Greek Technology”
Research
The notes of my resource about the technology of the ancient Greeks written in a book of 107 pages. You can watch my video that I broadcast in my channel on 2021 about the ancient Greek technology on YouTube. The first presentation I gave to the public was in the Greek Museum of Adelaide in the Flambouro Hall exhibition, the next one was on 2023 at Olympic hall (GOCSA) during the Odyssey Greek Festival.
A few words about the book:
“We start with the question: did Greeks discover it all?
Between jokes and being serious, many Greeks believe this and as a result, non-Greeks find it an excuse for various jokes! But what is the truth?
But what is the truth? Surely this far-fetched theory has a basis of truth in some cases. But in some other cases the discoveries of the Greeks, or their theories about the world, found resonance with today’s scientists and formed the basis for several of the modern ones.
The discovery of steam power, the use of precision clocks, the measurement of the circumference of the Earth, the use of analogue computers, the coding of messages, the construction of mechanical and pneumatic automation, and other applications were known two thousand years ago to ancient Greeks.
“Artificial Intelligence, from science fiction to reality. Year 2023”
Research
I chose the title “Artificial Intelligence, from science fiction to reality.” Year 2023″ because the general public first got to know Artificial Intelligence first through science fiction books and later through cinema. Now we all use Artificial Intelligence although most of us don’t know it.
I present how Artificial Intelligence was seen by the first writers of science fiction, how we watch it through the movies and we will see at what level it is among us in reality. I explain what Artificial Intelligence is, if will helps us, the risks we face from its use, and also the philosophical questions that arise from the moment it was invented and from its future development.
